We’ve had a little bit of a schedule change, and it was also recently brought to my attention that this is Spring Break for a lot of the local schools. So moving out our planned speaker a month and will do something a little different instead in case folks have other family plans.
There is more and more talk about immersive experiences when dealing with game design. Gaming is no longer limited to the TV screen / Computer monitor. In this talk we are going to demonstrate how you can enrich the game experience by interacting with real world objects via low cost IoT devices.
• The facilities do have restricted access (which is why someone needs to let people in the doors). For safety and security, we must have people RSVP so that the security office has a list of attendees. Please make sure to have your first and last name in your profile to properly reflect on the badge. The RSVP will close approximately 24 hours before the meetup so that the facility coordinator has enough time to print the name badges
• Plans can change, it’s OK, happens to the best of us. Please make sure that if you are no longer able to attend after RSVP’ing for the meetup to change your response. This way we can ensure that we are ordering the proper amount of food and that nothing is going to waste.
