Open Data Day is an international event focused on open data. For our Charlotte event, we’d like to focus on how we add data to Charlotte’s advocacy message. After we start our morning with coffee and a light breakfast, we’ll talk about Open Data for Beginners and how to request data from government. Most of the day will be focused on actively using existing data sets and/or brainstorming about what data is needed. Computers are welcome and will help use resources but are not necessary for participation.
Everyone is welcome and registration is quick and easy. To register or learn more about the event go to http://codeforcharlotte.org/opendataday.
If you have any questions, would like to partner or volunteer, or need a scholarship please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks and we hope to see you there!
