Posted on: Wednesday, October 12th, 2016

At the start of October 2016, John Fread and the Logical Advantage team were named the National SIM Winner of the inaugural STEM Award for Corporate Catalyst. On October 25th, 2016, at the national SIMposium event at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, John Fread will accept the award, which will be given on behalf of SIM’s STEMOutreach Program.

According to Elizabeth Austin, Charlotte Region SIM Chapter President Emeritus, “Per the national Awards Committee, the nomination of Logical Advantage was outstanding resulting in Logical Advantage being recognized as a company that embodies the type of corporate support that is so vital for advancing STEM careers.”

The award is described as follows:

The Corporate Catalyst Award recognizes a for-profit corporation that develops and encourages an environment that promotes innovation in science, technology, engineering or math and has initiatives to make a lasting impact.

“Locally, we all applaud the many contributions of John Fread, Dan Thyer and the entire Logical Advantage team to support STEM education, awareness, and talent pool development,” Austin wrote, in an email announcing and celebrating the award. “It is very exciting to see LA receive national recognition from the SIM STEM Outreach program.  Even more exciting that the rewards of their contributions and efforts for STEM are reaped here locally.”

Congratulations to John Fread, Dan Thyer and the entire Logical Advantage team on this amazing accomplishment!
